Rhino Medical is leading the charge seeking a dedicated Hospitalist Physician (MD/DO) for an exciting locum tenens opportunity in Princeton, West Virginia. This role features a well-organized hospitalist program, a strong support team of advanced practice providers, and a manageable patient load in a closed ICU setting during the day.

• Location: Princeton, WV
• Contract Type: Locum Tenens – Hospitalist Physician
• Facility Type: Full-Service Regional Medical Center (203-Bed Hospital)
• Start Date: ASAP – Ongoing Coverage Needed
• EMR System: EPIC
• Procedures: Not required
• Codes: Not required

Position Overview:

• Day Team: 5 Physicians + 5 APPs

• Night Coverage: 1 Physician + 1 APP

• ICU APP Support also provided at night

• Closed ICU during the day / Open ICU at night

• Average Daily Census: ~125 patients

• Average Daily Admissions: 13–14

• Day teams split patient load evenly – 1 Physician + 1 APP per team

• No procedures, no codes – focus on rounding, admissions, and continuity of care

Candidate Requirements:

• Active West Virginia Medical License & Unrestricted DEA

• Board Certified or Board Eligible in Internal Medicine

• Previous inpatient hospitalist experience preferred

• Comfortable using EPIC EMR
